Our History

The practice was started by Occupational Therapist Dale Guthrie in 2017 as an adaptive yoga studio, providing specially tailored yoga classes to people with a range of physical impairments. With a special interest in neurosciences, Dale soon expanded her services to include Occupational Therapy for people with a wide range of neurological conditions; from this grew a practice of experienced Occupational Therapists with a special interest in neurology.

In October 2021, Dale and her family emigrated to the United Kingdom, and the practice was handed over to her University peer, colleague and friend, Kimberley Jones. Although adaptive yoga is no longer a specific service rendered by the practice, the history of neurological rehabilitation drawing on the principles of neuroscience and mindful intervention continues to drive the specialised Occupational Therapy services rendered by the practice to date.
